Hey Lovelies!
I’m Sereena, the lead photographer here at Lovely Honey Photography. I’ve spent five years transitioning what originated as a hobby and passion into a professional business. When I first got into the professional photography space, I specialized in senior portraits in Washington State. This is where my style stems from. I emphasize dark and cool tones to create moody photos that perfectly capture deep shadows and stunning highlights. Washington is known for dense coverage of trees and near constant rain and overcast weather but there are also immaculate golden hours where the clouds part creating breathtaking, creamy and warm lighting.
Two years ago, my little family and I moved to Southern California, in the middle of the chaos that was 2020, when my husband retired from the Army. In two years here, a lot happened including buying and then selling our first home and moving into our current home, welcoming our second sweet baby into this world and settling into a new way of life. Although life is so different from five years ago when I started this all, I’m holding on to my roots and letting it continue to reflect in my style and editing.
